Education an agent of liberation. Education has done so much good to the society. Affecting our world positively aiding and developing means of communication, transportation. As well as, technology, health system, economic strategies, banking system, security sectors, etc. A nation, without education is like a tree been cut down. Which begins to fade gradually until it totally gets destroyed. Education must be given a very high priority to in every nation, especially our country Nigeria.

Speaking at the free distribution of GCE forms to pupils at the council. Chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Authority (LCDA), Kayode Adejare Omiyale has restated that education remains the best, greatest, unsurpassed, tools For transformation, liberation and development of any nation; which would help people serves as means or agent of development.

Kayode Adejare Omiyale spoke at the distribution of free GCE forms to pupils in the council. Omiyale was represented by the Vice Chairman, Nurudeen AIleru.

The House Leader Solomon Gbinigie admonished, encouraged and cautioned the pupils to study very hard. This is in order to perform excellently and come out successfully. “There is no shortcut to success; you must operate with determination, commitment, dedication and hard work. “You must work and study very hard if you must possess and attain the necessary, required documents to secure and gain admission into the higher institution of their choice”.

Mrs. Kemi Adefowokan, the Council Manager advised, counseled and encourage the pupils to be of good character. They should be positive and well behaved. Wheresoever, they maybe and be a good ambassadors of Yaba Local Council Development Authority (LCDA) by refusing to partake in evil and fleeing from any kinds of crime.

Mr. Duro Akinola, HOD of Education implored, beseeched the beneficiaries to consider themselves opportune, fortunate, and favorable because some brilliant ones who could not afford the cost of GCE forms may lost the opportunities of furthering their studies in the higher institution.
