Multichoice has just announced the premiere date for the seventh season of Africas biggest reality Tv show, Big Brother Naija.
The season will kick off with a double launch show on the 23rd and 24th of July, 2022 and will run for 72 days.
Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa channels, Multichoice Group, promises the season will be bigger and better.
She said they received over 40,000 entries and worked with psychologists and experts to ensure they got the best housemates.
The grand prize is also bigger this season as the season’s winner will take home a whooping N100 million; N50 million in cash and other prizes worth N50 million.
In addition, 30 fans will win N1 million each in the “Fave Lock-in” promo exclusive to DSTV and GOTV customers.
This season will also feature a return of some “pre-covid” show elements like the fan favourite “Ninjas”.
Recall that the last 2 seasons were devoid of Ninjas due to covid 19 policies.
This season will also see the return of a live studio audience on the live eviction shows.
Voting for this season will only be on the Big brother Naija website, mobile site, and the MyDstv and MyGotv apps for active customers. However, there will be no SMS voting.
Pocket by Piggyvest formerly known as Abeg is the headline sponsor of this seventh season.
You can catch the launch show on July 23 and 24 on Africa Magic Urban, Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family on DSTV and GOTV.
