A recording presented on Day six of the Johnny Depp Defamation trial proves he was a victim of physical abuse from his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
In the recording played for the Jury in court, Heard admitted to hitting Johnny during an argument.
“I didn’t punch you. I’m sorry I didn’t hit you across the face in a proper slap. I was hitting you, it was not punching you.” Amber was heard saying to Depp in the recording.
“You’ve been in a lot of fights, you’ve been around a long time. You didn’t get punched. You got hit. I’m sorry I hit you like this, I didn’t punch you. I did not fu**ing deck you. No, I fu**ing was hitting you. I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was. You’re fine. I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you. I’m not sitting here bit**ing about.” she further said.
Depp recorded that conversation as well as others. He said he made a habit of recording their conversations.
In another recording, Amber was daring Johnny to speak up about the abuse, claiming no one would believe him.
“Tell the world, Johnny, tell them, ‘Johnny Depp, I, a man, I’m a victim too of domestic violence. And see how many people believe or side with you.” She was screaming in reply to Depp confronting her about how she injured his finger.
In another recording, Amber was admitting to hitting Depp on the head with the bathroom door.

Furthermore, Depp testified in court about how Amber used his struggles against him.
He said, “I think [my substance abuse] was an easy target for [amber heard] to hit because once you’ve trusted somebody (..) and you’ve told them all the secrets of your life that information can be used against you”
Also, Johnny Depp said the damage to his life had already been done, no matter the outcome of the case.
“I’ve lost everything. No matter the outcome of this trial, I’ve already lost. I lost when these allegations were made because they will stay with me forever.” a sad Depp said.
Meanwhile, Amber Heard is due to testify in the case later. How will she respond to the evidence against her? We can only wait to see.
